In short
Enrolment in a Dutch programme almost always runs through Studielink, alongside institution-specific document uploads and any language or selection requirements your programme sets.
The Studielink route
Studielink is the national portal that most Bachelor's and Master's applications go through. Your institution will also ask you to upload its own supporting documents directly through its own portal, the two processes run in parallel, not instead of each other.
What to prepare
- Certified transcripts and diploma.
- Language test results (IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent), if your programme requires them.
- A copy of your passport or national ID.
- A motivation letter or CV, for programmes with selective admission.
- Proof of prior education recognition, where your programme asks for it.
Deadlines vary
Numerus fixus (capped) programmes usually close earlier than open-admission programmes. Always check your specific programme's page rather than a general deadline you've seen elsewhere.
